I swear i've met more gay NPC's than straight, men constantly mentioning their husband, etc. Nothing wrong with having lgbt stuff in your game but it unironically seems like being straight in this universe is taboo or something

Sure, you don't have to be happy with it, but I'm still wondering what the actual criticism is then. If it's just "too many gays, it's breaking my immersion" then that seems pretty flimsy soapbox to stand on all things considered.

I'm working from the position that there are no % of queer people in any story that would make me feel uncomfortable because we're all humans trying to love and live at the end of the day. There's also plenty of straight relationships in the game, and so I don't find these kinds of arguments particularly compelling.

It can always get worse, so that's not exactly a good point . And a more pressing matter would be the millions of people starving on the streets, and how this planet is becoming a worse place to live in with each passing day. Truth be told, our objective list as a species is very skewered .

No one is gay in this game. People call Gale gay, I play as Gale, I romance Shadowheart and nobody else - not gay. you play as male character, male character hits on you, play as a female, same character hits on you, how are they just gay? Why is it always black and white too? Bi-sexual, Pan-sexual, whatever-sexual, characters can be any of that. If you wanna say some people are overly aggressive when they hit on PC, okay sure. But to complain that other characters are too gay makes no sense. Also I cannot stress enough I have made it to act 2, and not one person has hit on me. Not Astarion, or Wyll, Laezel might be dead idk she never joined my party. I had to be very deliberate romancing shadowheart. Is Gale just that unnattractive? Am I getting locked out of certain dialogue options? I don't get it.
