Hidden Achievements (WHY)

So I understand to some extent why hidden achievements exist on steam. HOWEVER I HATE the fact that almost half the achievements for the game are hidden. I almost wish devs left them un-hidden but with no description so we could at least see them without having to go to an entirely different website with spoilers to get them

View global stats and click the achievement. It unhides them for you.

Steam lets you see hidden achievements whenever you want. Just go into the list and reveal them.

Steam no longer truly hides any achievements, so you can spoil them to your heart's content.

Another comment about this is probably redundant, but if nothing else hopefully it really hammers the fact in.

even the name of a story related achievement often is a spoiler, so it kinda makes sense why you would want to hide them.
