Whoever you are way, wayy below Jahira's standards plus Kethric looks old too and he can't be romanced either, Halsin is also middle aged but you can romance him just fine

She is nearly 200 Years Old in BG3 and was Actually Married in Baldurs Gate 1.
You could Romance here in Baldurs Gate 2 when her Husband Died in the Beginning of Baldurs Gate 2.

In BG3 which Plays over a Hundred Years after BG2. She is near 200 Years Old and has a whole Bunch of Adopted Kids in the City which You can even Visit.
She is not Interested in Romance with a Kid Mate ;)

Halsin is a Full Elf.
Age is Basicly Irrelevant to him as he could in Theory become like 5000 Years Old if he becomes Powerful enough.

Jeheira is only Half Elf. Her Life Expectancy is about 180 Years.


So Halsin in Relation to his actual Age Limit is at best a Teenager.
While Jaheira in Relation to her Age Limit is a Grandma on Deaths Door.

I am more amused by the fact that we have the "age" setting in the character creation tool, but it only affects the face:

1) It does not affect the body
2) it does not affect the voice
3) it does not affect the lines

Where the heck is "Back in MAH day we..."?
Tbs, I'd love for some old-timer quirks, like some wisdom\insight advantages, combined with occasional shooting back pain debuffs during fights :)

I think she (and Minsc, tangentially) are not romanceable because they're BG1 characters, not Larian characters. Making a romance path with them may not have been allowed.

If the licensing contract was that concerned with the character's perception then they wouldn't have allowed her or Minsc in the game at all because you can just make them run around naked
