A way to "go down a level" in view?

I have people on a roof, and on the floor underneath. I cannot select effeictly the enmies with my people on a roof.

Is there some way of "go down a floor" in view?

You could click on one of the portraits in the queue on top of the screen for targeting purposes, but there is no dedicated key to change the vertical position of the camera.

For rooftop selection I press "O" (that's OH, not ZEROH) to pan top-down, then zoom all the way out. That usually brings rooftop enemies into a selectable state. If you have someone inside on floor roof-1 then zooming while in top-down should find a range where you can select your indoor dudes, too.

Press O again to cancel top-down camera when done.

Page up and page down to go up or down, pretty sure those are the keybindings anyways.

You can't properly control the camera in this game. Tactical view with 'O' is your best chance.

Holy cow! o_O They really hid "layer-zooming" in the "O"-mode ("OH"-mode ^^). Many thanks for pointing that out ... (hitting page down / page up in not-"O"-mode only has 2 zoom steps)
