[SPOILERS] Gith became aggressive after I took lae'zel off the machine

UPDATE: So it guess it was not the entire place. but soon after, I took some decisions that lead to a full blown out battle, but at least laezel still is with me.

Ive convinced lae zel to get out of that strange machine before it hurt her, and I alt tabbed the game to get some work done. All of a sudden, I hear combat starting and alt tab back to a battle having been initiated.

Is that due to my choice with lae zel? Or was it maybe that I needed to leave that room and didnt, therefore they became hostile?

Im asking cuz if I can, I want to avoid unnecessary fights on this run. Mah toon likes laezel and wants to please her so not exterminate her race.

Dont worry you will need to kill them any way. might be better to reload and wait for that time though

The surgeon is like "I'll be right back" and she actually locks the door. When she comes back, is with the gith to slay you

But it's only the gith in that room, not the entire entourage.

Nah, the Githyanki in the room become hostile regardless. They even lock the door and stand outside ready to kill you if you break the door down.

The lady in charge of the machine basically is like "O yeah, i,ll be nice and come back ^w^" but what she realy does is gather the Githyanki outside the room to kill you in order to solve 'the problem' of the tadpoles in your heads.

That's the point. That machine supposed to kill you, but since it didn't they decided to fall back to a more personal approach.

Yep. I have a CHA toon, I prefer to always ehxaust all dialogue options before turning into a fight. A tiefling nonetheless, with bonus in intimidation and performance IIRC. Perfect gal.

I left the door open. Guess that was a problem.

I had a character stop the "doctor" from leaving by starting a conversation and had that character trigger an aggressive response just from her alone, resulting in her death before she could leave. Nobody else was aggressive (but the people in the next room were scattered around).

You can intercept her with a fireball before she reaches the door if you want to eliminate the problem "tee hehe"
