question about pushing enemies off a ledge

If i push an enemy into a chasm, although effective, i cannot loot the body right? So i miss out really?

you can only loot the ones you shove into particular holes that link to actual game world lower down (like the underdark) and you can find their body's later and loot them then.

but in a normal chasm that leads nowhere they and your loot are lost. trade off for a free kill.

^^^ For the most part, if it's a Chasm (instant death) you're not getting any loot, however there are a few fights where the enemy doesn't actually die and will throw themselves back or teleport out of the chasm.

ok thanks guys. most loot isnt worth much but for me it's better to be safe than sorry so i won't be pushing anyone into a chasm unless i really need to ;)

Push all day brother. Loot is ephemeral and there's always better loot somewhere else.

I haven't beaten the game yet, but so far there's 1 item I've seen that was better than items I bought from vendors. Only one. Combat loot is just gold, and not much of it.

Btw, another question if I may? I stowed loads of camp supplies in a crate in the rest area in act one on the main surface map. I'm in the underdark currently and noticed the crate was gone. Will it still be there if i rest in the same map area as where i stored them? I'm playing on tactician and 80 supplies a rest is a lot of supplies lol

If you want to stow supplies, use the traveller's chest at camp. That one travels with you.

They should be? But you really should be using the camp chest instead of random crates. Could even stick the crates in the camp chest.

BTW, got this gear that has less armour but says if obscured by shadows i can do dmg to enemies. Been reading its redundant as you are never fighting in the dark anyways, is this true please?

If you're outside, you're most likely going to be fighting in bright light - inside or underground you may have to put some lights out. Alternatively, you could use the Darkness spell, but that's going to severely limit your range unless you're playing something like a warlock with Devils Sight.

thanks mate, seems to much of a trade off and i'll stick with my basic armour. Damm this game makes you think constantly. I feel like my brain has been dumbed down over the years with games that explain everything and give you the linear experience haha

A mimic ate my weapon and then I had Karlach push it into a chasm before I remembered it ate my weapon.

Thankfully I'm running pact of the blade so I just made another.

lol, so random haha.

I just consumed a mind flare specimen but it doesnt tell me what it did. Now my other specimens in my inventory have gone. I hate not knowing things in this game so yet again i post here ;)
