So, do corpses despawn eventually?

I defeatet that forge guardian thing in the underdark a while back and came back today to check if their corpse had despawned, which it ... didn't, and it is blocking the mold chamber. I managed to forge 1 thing before the fight started and now i can't use it because that heavy a** golem died upon it :| Any idea what to do? i can't reload, that would be days of playing down the drain, i can't move them either, i tried blowing it up but nothing works. I even looked uup if the cheat engine someone put together that a cheat for despawning stuff but so far it does not seem like it.

I don't know about machines. Eventually flesh corpses go away and leave behind a pouch.
Try long resting and see if it goes away.

Already tried that. Eventually i was going on with my day(s) and came back after like 3 irl days to check if the corpse despawned - it did not. Maybe they'll fix this in the future :|
