"Meet Halsin at lakeshore by last light" not working.
My group got to the quest where we need to meet Halsin by Last Light right after completing waking up Art Callugh. We saw Halsin with a quest marker in the area before we left to complete a different lengthy set of quests. When we came back to Last Light Halsin was gone.

Halsin still shows up in our camp with the generic dialogue options that he always has. Is there a way to get him to reappear in the correct location and activate the rest of the questline?

As soon as you wake him up the halsin npc starts walking to the quest location which is a rock on the shore. I remember thinking as I was following him, what if I decided to run off? I would have no clue as to where he had gone. (It's past Bex if that helps)

I am guessing those lengthy set of quests you did before that affected the world state and caused this. Tip: Always try and finish side quests completely before doing something else.

Any solution to this? I'm currently experiencing this and I've tried many fixes. Even going as far back in my saves to before I woke up Art was really buggy--Halsin wasn't even at the bed then but at camp, and when I clicked on Halsin at camp it threw me back to the Last Light in cutscene where I wake up Art. I don't want to have to fish the githyanki I killed in between waking up Art and trying to continue that quest....any help?

You have to wait 1 day, so go do a long rest and return, he'll be there.

I have a different problem with this quest.. that occurs a little bit later.. I completed it last time, after killing everything on the map.. including all the harpers etc. albeit they died due to my stupidity..

I tried doing a long rest as well and that didn't help. I just tried going to the House of FLowers, played Oliver's games, but still no changes. I guess I really do have to redo killing the githyanki at the bridge in order to even do this quest...ugh

Stuck in the same situation. Hal son is at my camp, but won’t show at Inn or by lake. I’ve don’t way to much to reload an old save. Super frustrating.

I was having the issue that I didn't know where to go so I did a ton of side quests first and almost did the Moonrise Towers first, but I did a long rest and it seems that after you long rest Halson goes back to the building and walks to the lakefront just near Last Light Inn. if you long rest at Last Light Inn, say at the square and then "leave camp" you should run into him pathing down the steps to the lake after a few moments.

I had a similar problem. He disappeared as I was ready to wake Art. I completed that by speaking to Art and Halsin was in the the cutscenes, but then nowhere after. I returned to camp and he was there, but couldn't be talked to. I went and did a few side quests. After a long rest, I went back to Last Light, saved, quit, reloaded, and he had returned and was headed towards the rock.

someone suggested you can get halsin to go back if you kill Art and use the spell Speak with Dead and that will start the dialogue again for Halsin to meet you t the lakeshore, i am having the same problem though i admit i haven't attempted this yet to see if it works, so if you try it let me know the reults because i am curious myself

This solution worked for me.
