Romance Guide Gale post patch 1 [SPOILERS]

I thought I would make this thread since they changed Gales romance after patch 1. I initially thought the romance was bugged after patch 1 as they changed it some.
Hopefully this will help those who plan to romance him and are having trouble now.
I plan to make this into a guide as well.
In act 1 you need to do all the things that Gale approves of just like you did before. The difference now is you will not get any romance scenes like the weave magic teach scene until the party after you rescue Halsin.

At the party approach Gale first and talk to him and he will be glad and speak of showing you something magical in private later. you need to say yes.
He will not have the exclamation point over him when you speak to him just so you know, but make sure to speak to him to lock the weave scene in.

Once you are done speaking with everyone at the party, you need to do your go to sleep.

Once you go to your sleep his scene where he is admiring you know who appears and you can speak to him and obtain weave scene. just DO NOT answer with you wanted to show me something because you will not further the scene. Instead chose another line. I chose the Is that Mystra line and it progressed just like it did prior to the patch.
Once you are channeling the weave you get the dialog choices to say it is a good night for intimacy. chose the hold on to it and its good night for intimacy. Any other choice will end the scene.
Then you get dialog choices of what to show Gale you are thinking. Obviously choose the very romantic choice of kissing him.

The next day I then went adventuring still in act 1 and fought something.
Then I went to camp and Gale had the exclamation above him.
I talked to him and then got our other scene where he speaks of locking himself away in his tower.
I chose is he talking about his cat for the first dialog choice. Then the next dialog I chose was he lonely in the tower.
Finally the last dialog Be sure to chose the romantic dialog choice that you like the gale in front of you and want to see more of him.
From here you are now at a place where romance should occur at the next phase.
I really hope this helps others as I was so devastated when I thought his romance was broken. It still has the scenes as before , they just occur later in the act 1 and now include choices for friendship that were not there before.

Do they put this change in the patch notes anywhere? I restarted to a new game and I have been losing my mind trying to trigger the weave scene because It's not showing up, and I knew last time it triggered super quick so i thought I'd bugged the game out getting his affection up too quickly. I've been stressing for nothing then lol.

all they put in patch is that it has been changed because they made friend options now too. the weave scene occurs at the party now. I put out a guide on romancing gale . It shows step by step how I got him romanced in Act 1. I just got the next scene in act 2 that leads to romance so I know my guide and what I did works.
It is extremely frustrating now that in a huge chunk of act one we now have no idea if he likes us or not. there are really no scenes prior to weave scene that is now at the party.
Astarion has a ton of mini scenes leading to romance. They really need to add more to Gales in act one.
