How to pass a 30 Charisma Check?
Not going to spoil anything but I'm in Act 2 with quest and I need 30 charisma roll to convince the person, was wondering if there are any potions to increase it. Also I thought raising the approval with someone lets you more easily convince them of things, as it says in the menu. My approval is "Exceptional and character is easily convinced by Avatar" and the icon is all the way in the green, Is this a bug or something?

This. If your approval rating is that high, let her make the decision.

Savescum until you roll a natural 20

The spell 'friends' or a scroll of it might help, gives advantage. Shadowheart could also cast the lvl 2 spell for advantage, (looks like a fist.) And 30 isn't insane or anything, just high. My sorc by endgame was convincing af, something like +15-18.

It's not a bug, it's just a stupidly ridiculously high charisma check. It is possible to do it even without a Nat 20, you just have to have enough modifiers and pray for a really high initial roll. I think I know which quest you're talking about and I just give myself all the modifiers I can possibly get (I don't think there are potions, no. You just have to have high enough stats and modifiers), save just before I roll and if I don't make it with either a Nat 20 or my modifiers, I just reload the save until I do make it. It's frustrating and if you have a char with low charisma and/or modifiers, just keep praying for a Nat 20.

Oh damn yeah, my tired brain read 'Charisma' as 'persuasion.' That's high.

You have to lift heavy things and make sensible nutrition choices. If you do it right, you should have youthful skin, silky smooth hair, bright eyes and visible abs. That should give you the charasima advantage you're looking for.

if you dont want to save scum
just fail the 30 roll keep talking and you can roll again for 21. use your bonus re-rolls on the 21 not the 30.

As stated critical success(natural 20 ie no modifiers). It is possible to get to 30 without having to hope for that though even with modifiers it will be a small sequence to success.

You just need additional modifiers like proficiency. If you aren't built for charisma you probably won't be able to do those checks.

Or, I get this might be a new concept, you just accept you failed it, and continue on. Somethings are difficult because it is hard to persuade the person to your way of thinking or perspective, its not the end of the world. This is why I absolutely detested Larian changed Kagha and the tiefling child. She has no reason at all to trust you in that matter, you are just another group of interloping adventurers, who had some competence killing Goblins. A DC 10 check is too low.

Impossible for the whiners and haters. Everything must go exactly how they want it too because they arent mature enough to accept it.

i think 35 is the highest you can roll so 30 is possible
