Mod troubles

I am trying to join a multiplayer lobby with friends while using mods. We've gone through every mod and have not been able to find a discrepancy. We're using bg3 mod manager, and the weird thing is I don't get an error when I get kicked from the lobby immediately after trying to join. Any help is appreciated.

Some mods you just can't use in multiplayer. A friend and I tried to use a bunch of mods plus a lone wolf mod, so we could just do a two man party without NPCs, the other mods were cosmetic and a bag mod for sorting, but we couldn't join each other with the lone wolf mod active and had to take it out. Then everything was fine and we could play with the other mods. You're going to have to experiment on which work for multiplayer. It might of been just a buggy mod since single player it would work, but it would mess up the NPCs and you couldn't gain rapport with any of them with it on.

we tried to find out what mod caused this with us but nothing worked i can join my friend with all my mods but the other friend cant join us

having the same problem in my end. are there any solution for this?

I run mods in multiplayer all the time and we never have any issues. We are using a local lan connection, my computer acts as the server in that case. We also have used our vpn connection but it is the same as the Local Lan connection just over the net.

I have never had any descent performance from hosted lobby servers. They over sell the connection and lag you to death.
