What happened to belts?
I notice in the trade screen there is a belt slot, but in the regular inventory screen it's not there. I take it that went the same way as the Upper City or are there belts in the game somewhere?

Yeah was just noticing that as well. Seems like a bizarre thing to cut. Just put some belts in the game ...

They'd clip with basically all the outfits unfortunately. That's likely why they were cut. They'd need to be modeled to fit over everything from naked to robes to plate without clipping, and that would likely result in very oversized, cartoonish belts that just wouldn't fit the aesthetic.

Belts often don't even get physical models that appear on the avatar, including amulets and rings.
They could of every easily had done belts like they did with every other item from their prior game, Divinity Original Sin 2.

At that point, why bother? It's just an amulet by another name.

Would be cool to see some of our dnd belts but they didn't even need to have a model. They could've just let us have them for some of our classic nostalgic builds. Had they over delivered even and had say the belt of Dwarvenkind actually give your character a beard or fuller beard that would've been even better.

Just again.
These items never got physical models and would, as you said, look ridiculous but were still implemented because common sense demanded them at the time.
"Hey, they gotta wear 'em belts or the pants will fall down!"
Now maybe dnd magic is so strong that you can wear any pair of pants without worrying of them falling down but I digress, its still a weird item type to cut.
Weapon types I would understand, belts tho? Wut
