Act 3. When to kill (blank)?

The first thing I wanted to do was get the gear from the House of Hope. So I rushed to that place first thing, defeated the boss, got the gear.
Next, to test it out, I went on a killing spree and was summoned by Gortash.
His proposal sounded logical, but then he started sounding bossy so I killed him and everyone there (besides Wyll’s father) just for kicks.

I’m level 11 I think.



My question is, since I was just going on a killing spree, I was intending on loading it, and thought I would get murdered.

If I continue the save with him dead, do I miss out on a lot of content? At what point should I kill them if there is, or do I not miss out on much good loot?


For me, moral decisions mean nothing if I get good gear.

I’m in a similar position and am ready to take out Gortash and Orin. I’m halfway to level 12 and don’t want to the game to end yet so I’m taking my time.

I say go for it!

Not ideal because you still got the Steel Watch to content with. Disable them and then wack Gotash.

Do they respawn? I like saving to do killing sprees to test stuff, then reload. But if they respawn, even better. More xp.


I prefer end game games because I don’t like it to end. So that’s my biggest issue.
I ended up saving it, then reloading before it just in case.



I killed all the steel watch in the room with Gortash, along with everyone else there (unconscious Wyll’s father just in case), so I’m pretty confident that they’re no threat to me so long as they don’t pin my main down.

I don’t want the game to end either.
Taking my time is same for me. I just want to get good loot before I begin the side missions so I can save it, then be able to reload whenever I want to experience it again. But that way I have my solid build all set.

ok the bulk of Gortash contend leds with disableing the steal watch, and save wylls father, which is tide to iron throne quest. but if you just killed Gortash at the cordination you pretty much skip the steal foundry quest and Iron thone quest. which is perfectly fine.

Hmm.. I don’t like wasting experience or potential rewards. Also since it’s my first time doing the story, I want to experience as much as possible for first play throughout, unless I get a nice reward or gear.

I just killed him again without killing anything else in the room, so I think I’ll just play along with his quest so I can kill spree whenever instead of it being an empty room because I got bloodthirsty too early.

Later on Orin will Kidnapped someone from you camp so you are going to have to Betray Gortash anyway. Agree with her deal and no more of her cult will come after you in the city.

She kidnapped Halsin, but at that point I figure it was a fake since I’ve seen him during the shadow place, and this one was overselling it.
I followed the path to see if she was there, but only followers. I went to Gortash to kill only him just for kicks. I was trying different abilities so I didn’t expect a cutscene.

Those cultists are annoying because they love to use the invisible spell.

I think I fought the wrong ones then. I don't remember them using it. Only one per group using the 3 hit invulnerable or something. Reduces damage to 1 3 times.
