How many parasites am I allowed to insert into brain, before change in aesthetics?

Simple question really, if you would be so kind: Friends told me that after a few parasites your character starts to physically change, I have only inserted a second one so far. Does anyone know how many you can get away with before changes occur?

You can fill your brain will all the parasites as possible. Its only when given the option to evolve at the end of Act2/beginning of Act3 when the Emperor asks if you want to that you change. Then you get access to flying and stuff.

Choosing to unlock the last tier of tadpole powers alters your appearance. As long as you don't choose to unlock them, then your appearance will stay the same. Every tadpole ability you have available to you now is safe to take.

You need to not use the Astral Touched Tadpole. Or alternatively download a mod to hide the appearance change. On my necromancer the change actually looked cool so I dont see why someone else should be denied the same powers if they dont like the visual change. Larian should have introduce some real drawbacks.

I really dislike the way they change your appearance. Guess that's the price for Black Hole though.
