Shadowheart leaves GLITCH? spoilers btw

I'm at the part where i was at Shadowfell, and defeated balthazar and initiated cutscene with nightsong. No matter what choice I make, shadowheart separates herself from the group (usually post-fight) and then goes back to camp. Cutscene then happens, and no matter the choice I make (stay with shar or change), she still leaves the group after I go to camp, saying I denied her of her choice.

This is a bug right??? ): Is anyone experiencing the same?

fixed it by fighting balthazar before the shadowfell entry :)
seems like killing balthazar for some reason puts shadowheart in the camp automatically.

Are you not letting Shadowheart talk to the nightsong?

Do her personal quest in the gauntlet of shar and equip her with the spear you get from it.

I am! but the issue is as soon as combat is done she separates herself from the group and can be found in camp.

So when I do initiate convo w nightsong shadowheart is still in the group for some reason

Did you try loading an earlier save and defeat balthazar in his quarters before you go to the nightsong? That way there's no fight at the nightsong.

No, but that's probably what I'll try to do. If I get impatient enough lol. It's just bizarre.

It's a pretty easy fight in his quarters so it shouldn't take you long to test. No fight at nightsong perhaps no buggy trigger with Shadowheart

Also, after you defeat Balthazar at the Shadowfell, you don't immediately start the converstion with Nightsong. So my point is, even if Shadowheart goes back to camp, can't you just teleport back with her somehow?

Yes i tried taking control of her and heading to the shadowfell myself after she somehow got separated.

She still initiates the leaving conversation immediately, even before the convo w nightsong

lmao yes after retrying it a few times i found an easy way to cheese balthazar.
disarm arrow w fighter under stealth, and then halsin (w feat alert) with thunderwave (or whatever the spells called i forgot) and it'll just yeet him off to the void forever in the first round

Well, this sounds like a bug.
Do us all a flavor, and re-post this in the Suggestions and Feedback Forum, so Larian will actually see it. As they do not peruse this forum.
