While in my first campaign we were fighting in the shadow druid area with all the mud imps. 3/4 party members were surrounded by the imps and the secondary summoned imps.

My rogue on the other hand was about 30 steps away about to slay one in single combat. When I did kill that IMP my g/f and co-op partner starts laughing hysterically. I look down and notice that 3 out of our 4 party members are dead, along with every single imp.

I had no idea they exploded and damaged everything around when they died. Wasn't a total wipe, definitely an "oh ♥♥♥♥" moment though. She was even recording the gameplay and you can hear me say "Did I just kill our group?".

Those imps are nasty. But the real funny one for me was in the Underdark, so MILD SPOILERS HERE.
You commandeer a Duergar boat and go across a lake. At the midpoint another Duergar boat comes along and the commander asks who the ♥♥♥♥ you are. It's a multiplayer game so our Paladin decides to shove the Duergar in the water between the boats in dialogue. Combat starts. We have two ranged and two buff melee characters. The Duergar proceed to, in two turns, shove US in the water, the two buff guys, while the ranged characters got arrowed to death. Dead silence on the Discord, but thankfully the game autosaved before the boat was boarded.

The Bulette leap/slam attack yeeted 3/4 of the party off the cliff and insta-killed them.

I spontaneously died for the first time in the last bend of the game.

Killed all of the enemies, was in control of Gale because he had the final kill. My character just.. dove into a chasm and died while everyone walked over to Gale. Lost all of my bonuses which were permanent after using revivify so I had to reload and do the whole section over again.

Gauntlet of shar elevator. One character gets on the elevator and two more follow. One stands off the elevator and misses it. Ok fine I’ll go back down. Crushes the character because they are literally standing right under the elevator

The first time I ever came across the undead that reflect double the radiant damage, I crit it on my first hit and proceed to him with a level 4 smite.

I also killed Gale while jumping towards Boooal's area. There was an exploding mushroom which I triggered with my character, and it exploded as Gales was trying to jump to me, sending him into the abyss.

On the boat, the duergar leader jumped on mine to talk , I attacked him then kicked him into the water. I found it very funny until I jumped on their ship with my main and on the ennemy's turn the closest duergar kicked me into the water, Dead.

First three minutes of the game. Decided to roll a paladin and play it as others would put it "stupid good". So you end up starting the game in the flying living ship, right? So as I examine everything around me, I find that all those stuff belonging to Mind Flayers should not be left standing (for various RP reasons) and I realise that I can hit anything with a basic attack. I start smashing things up and chain those attacks very fast without realising that I was sometimes releasing acid liquid on the ground, slowly nabbing at my HP bar and killing me on the spot.

Didn't even have a chance to quicksave yet. Didn't even open my inventory yet, nothing.

I quickly revised the way I would approach roleplaying that character right there and then. :P

Traps, I thought my monk can gracefully avoid all dangers and dodge out of harms way like those delightful and hammy shaolin flicks.
