Is the Daylight Spell Broken or am I stupid?
Daylight says it lasts until a long rest. You have the option to cast on an item or in a sphere. Both of the tool tips on both variations say this lasts until long rest. When you actually cast it on an item, the item is only enchanted for 15 turns.

You can see a time when you mouse over the item.

So either:
a) The Spell isn't working as intended.
b) The spell is working correctly, but the descriptions are wrong
c) I'm stupid and missing something.

Do you have any mods ? I just tested it and it doesn't have a turn counter.

it will, by default, be cast on the weapon being held by the target. if that is a bow, that goes dark when you are wielding a sword... and vice versa.

no mods. I dropped the item on the ground then cast the spell and it has a counter

Thank you.

I was droppinng armor on the ground and casting that way - and it has a timer. I also cast it on a weapon on the ground - and picked it up and equipped it - both of those methods caused the counter. Just clicking the character caused it to not have the counter.

It is a bit odd ... but:

Simply cast it on a character - which will cast the spell on their equipped melee weapon. This lasts till a long rest.

If you drop an item on the ground, then cast daylight on it, then pick it up - the spell only lasts about 10 rounds. I'm not sure why this happens this way as it "should" last until a long rest.

It is a little confusing I thought along similar lines but was trying to cast it on the item in inventory but you just target who you want it cast on then it will use the current equipped item. You have to pay attention though as it won't do much good if you change out the weapon you are holding. It almost feels like how the light spell is used in Solasta except you can select different items in the inventory to cast the light spell on in Solasta.

Weird, I used Daylight a lot in Act 2 and it always lasted until long rest when cast on my Tav

Not only does it last until long rest, but I also haven't found a way to make. it. stahp.

Light cantrip seems bugged too. It would randomly go away in the Shadowlands for me.
