Combat Inspiration still bugged?

I am never seeing pop-ups for this even though i've checked and set the game to ask whether to proc or not... very confused, I thought this was fixed?

It's still bugged, unfortunately.

You can use it the first time you have it, but then the buff stays on the character and no longer provides any benefit, but you also can't cast combat inspiration on that character again until they manage to clear the buff.

Right now the only way to clear the buff is a long rest OR you can force certain ability score check which clears the buff, such as the Shove bonus action. Note that you don't actually get the bonus when clearing the "second" value of combat inspiration with this shove, but it does clear the buff. Still very bugged, which surprises me as Larian seemed to do quite a pass on the bard with their patch.

This absolutely needs fixing, it's actively ruining the value of playing a Valour bard.

i found solution on reddit - u should shove ur companion and consumed combat insipration is gone

Still bugged in 2024, making the valor subclass completely worthless :)
