The biggest problem currently is that BG3 is receiving so many changes constantly that playing with MODS at this point is basically pointless. Each time the game is updated you will be required to get an updated version of every mod you are using, and thus will be required to wait for the Mod Creator to release said update to their mod making it compatible. Sometimes this happens within a day, some times it doesn't happen for several days, and sometimes it never happens at all.
Keep that in mind when modding your play through, the value of your time and the value of your SAVE file needs to be taken into consideration before applying mods, as they may not be available later if the game is updated.
No, it's not pointless.
1: Disable automatic updates of the game
2: Don't launch it through Larian's launcher
3: Install the relevant version compatible mods and play
4: If the game rolls in an update - don't update it, just continue playing - until you're sure all the mods you're using got updated by the community.
5: When you're sure all your mods were updated, do manual update of the game
6: ???
7: Profit!
The only way this can fail is if new update makes old version saves incompatible - but that'd just mean you will lose your old game version saves anyways and it's only a question of you losing extra saves during time in-between them rolling the update in and you manually updating (after your mods were updated). And they almost always keep BC for saves.
I just extract the update, see if any of my modified files have changed. Any file that has changed I re-add my alterations and place them in the override folder.
Takes all of 5 minutes on the outside if files have changed.
1) Why would you have to uninstall BG3MM to begin with???
2) Should the mods in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods appear in the MODS folder located here?C:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Baldurs Gate 3/Data ???
I am so confused anmymore! There is a MODS folder
here - C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods
and here - C:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Baldurs Gate 3/Data

It says my game will be unstable.
I used mod manager, and they are all in the active column. I saved it, then exported it to the game and started the game from Mod Manager.
How do I get it to enable those mods? Help me, Steam community, you're my only hope.
Did you ever get it fixed because that’s currently happening me right now
Actually, no. I use dozens of mods and most of them never become incompatible after a patch or hotfix. Just as an example, class and subclass mods I have never seen be affected. Never happens.
The honest fact is, the only reason why a whole bunch of mods became incompatible with HF 16 is because their authors embedded BG3 Mod Fixer into their mods. I really wish they would stop doing that. But that is, for example, the only reason why Basket Full of Equipment became incompatible with HF 16.
Now, please note, no slam against OP intended, I get I am part of a minority here, but I mod the game on Mac, and this advice isn't useful for me. And the only reason I point this out is, it causes an additional hurdle, as I can't use Script Extender which by itself often fixes problems with Mod Fixer or other mods all on its own.
