Cleric gods with most dialogue
Other than Selune which cleric god gives the most dialogue options to cleric characters?

Also since Shar and the big three got removed as option what evil god gives the most dialogue options?

A list of gods that gives the most dialogue to a cleric would be cool. Some options seem pointless I heard Bahamut and Eilistraee basically get none. Does Gruumsh get any for example?

Well. ♥♥♥♥. The way it's described at least in polish, it seems as god of natural order of things, there are bad stuff happening and good stuff. You must live to enjoy the moment. Guess it's not that lol.

I’ve had a couple of options for a cleric of Kelemvor, generally to pray for dead people. It would have been nice to have had a specific dialogue for not giving Mirena the Connor zombie, or reading the creepy book, since Kelemvor specifically hates necromancy

BG3's English description: "Talos represents the uncaring and destructive force of nature. His followers see life as a set of random effects in a sea of chaos, and take what they can - for who can say when Talos will strike next?"

He's a pretty bad guy :) It would be a very thematic choice for a lightning based Tempest Cleric / Wild Magic Sorc.

I'm trying to do Tempest cleric/Paladin build but my only choice so far for ''good'' Dragonborn, is Bahamut. Problem is, I play a male, and every dialogue option for cleric of Bahamut is in ''she''

Is Bahamut having only priestess ?

No, not at all. He only requires that his clergy is of good alignment. It's probably just mistranslated. Seems like the Polish text could use some updates in a few different places.

Ah alright. Yeah it's not great, maybe it's time to switch to English finally lol.

Honestly, i wish 5e gave clerics proficiency in ther dieties favorite weapons like it was in 3.5. There is little to no reason why a cleric of Eilistraee with all the domains she provides in the lore can't properly use the damn Phalar Aluve. Even though longsword is Eilistraee's favorite weapon and her rituals involve sword dancing.

There's Tempest and War Domains.

Or take a level or 2 in fighter, ranger, 3 in sword bard, etc.

Yeah, but i prefer to use lorefull domains. And that gives me a choice of life, light and nature.
And i do not particulary like multi-classing clerics.

As a cleric enthusiast here's my observations so far:

Tiamat/Talos/Gruumsh have minimal dialogue, and always in the exact same place (just replace x god/flavour from one with another). Occasional mention. Kind of generic evil god.

Lathander is really disappointing, especially in a certain part of Act 1 where you visit one of his temples AND SOMEHOW YOU CAN FAIL TO RECOGNISE IT IS A MONASTERY OF YOUR FAITH.

Selune probably has the most unique dialogue among all cleric deities in the game, followed by Mystra then Lolth.

Helm has some unique interactions where you wouldn't see other gods have any, but this isn't very common.

I haven't completed a playthrough of any of the others, but so far Mielikki is pretty disappointment (as was Oghma for as far as I got in that playthrough).
I take it 100% of mystra dialogues involve Gale

Mystra have a lot of interactions with gale

I mean. I understand wishing we could just do X. But there's very simple ways to play what you want, but you choose not to pursue.

Honestly, the 3.5 and 2e Sword dancers are best represented by College of Sword Bards in 5e.

Any interactions for clerics of Eilistraee?
We do find one of her 20 swords...
Hellsteeth30 Feb 8, 2024 @ 7:24am
Mystra.

That's about it.

Playing a Half-Orc Cleric of Gruumsh and halfway through Act 2. I did not see any "Cleric of Gruumsh" tags in speech only the generic <Cleric>.
