Gale romance after patch

anyone else having problems getting the weave scene to trigger now since this patch. his romance was working fine before this patch. now i cannot get the weave scene to trigger.
UPDATED: So they actually moved the weave scene to the party as someone told me in this forum. Once you go to the party is when Gale invites you once you do long rest you get the weave scene. I thought it was broken since Larians notes were not very clear on how much they changed.But for those romancing him, you will get the opportunity at the party, just do not promise a night with anyone else visit Gale first at the party and you should be good. just save before so in case you choose wrong dialog you can reload.

I have the same issue. I got the dialogue that proceeds it but I got the romance scene for 3 other characters. After long resting I wot the dream when you talk to the dream vistitor and hug them. Since it was a story thing I figured it would take priority over Gales romance. so I long rested again and was aproached by Karlach even though I hadn't pursued any romance with her. I had just got her the second upgrade that leads to her romance with you so I just assumed that that dialogue took priority as well. So I long rested again and was prompted by the Wyll dancing scene which was weirder because unlike Karlach I made some decisions that made him dislike me. After getting through that I long rested yet again to get Gales scene but nothing happend.

that and gales scene the weave scene is supposed to happen in act 1. it is supposed to occur before the party. karlachs second upgrade is not supposed to happen until act 2. they changed something in gales romance because people who didnt like him hitting on them complained. now i who want to romance him am not able to. this is frustrating cause i really do not want to start over and just have same thing happen again.

Sorry I explained that badly. Im in act 2 and allready had the intial romance scene with Gale after saving Halsin. I just defended the last light from the winged flaming fist and got the romance dialogue that leads to his second romance scene but it didnt happen.

He's still a bit lusty. Haven't spoken to him in my current good dark urge run and yet have had to tell him no, possibly twice? Once for sure- and then after that even he exclamation pointed into the flirty cat conversation, (like 3 out of 3 responses will be flirty and the more you pick the least flirty ones trying to get out, the more Anne Rice it gets.)

Had to reload and long rest to skip it, dude won't take no for an answer.
Might still have been broken in that save as I started it pre-patch?

Last bit is legit not necessary. Pump the hate brakes once in a while.

well this really angers me that they messed up my one romance as a female that i want because they still have every female in the game hitting on me when i am a straight female yet I cannot get the weave scene to romance Gale. So we women who want to romance Gale get messed up by the changes to Gale. I really hope they fix this mess because Gale is the only character I romance and if he is broken there is no point in playing for me. I do not want a female female relationship. No offence to anyone that does, that is just really not for me.

there really is no point in me even continuing with this character now since the weave scene is not even showing now.
UPDATE I finally got the scene. it now occurs at the party. you just go up to him and talk to him first before anyone else. then the other characters will recognize that you chose Gale and verbally respond to it.

i noticed when he admits about his condition to you they even left out the line you can say that you care about him when he asks if you want him to leave. I mean by all means fix the romances for people who dont want them but dont then break it for us females who do want to romance Gale.

instead of my Gale romance now I am still getting hit on by every single female in the game. It is beyond frustrating for a female gamer like myself that they broke the only male romance i loved.

So kill him and then romance him? Just use some necromancy and illusion magic and Im sure you can make him good as new.
