Why Larian perceive Minthara/Halsin as opposites
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Minthara is a baddie only during Act 1 cuz she's indoctrinated, and iirc basically in order to save her in Act 2, one actually needs to make moves AGAINST the antagonist group. Why they just don't wanna leave some options such as u just knock her out in Act 1 and then u find her in a cell cuz she failed later.
She isn't a companion who is a real advocatus diaboli for the Absolute/antagonists, there is none, actually.

Lemme repeat (and rephrase) my point then: quit reciting DnD 4-5 lore, it doesn't help this discussion cuz it doesn't lead to anywhere in this case, cuz u totally ignore the whole topic of Minthara, in which during Act 2-3, she is extremely disappointed by gods in general, making her an, erm, irreligious person?

It does help because the creators themselves said it is based on the 5e lore and uses it. So no I won't stop talking about the 5e lore. Watch their old streams if you have to so you can hear it directly from their lips. If it made her a oathbreaker paladin (doesn't server any gods or oaths) then it would say she is a oathbreaker paladin. Except by default she isn't. She is a paladin of Selune. So there's that. Obviously she still servers one or she wouldn't have any power or she would be an oathbreaker paladin.
See? There are much more obvious problems than the original DnD 5 lore cuz WE DON'T HAVE A CLUE, even, who she worships, genuinely that is. And more like she worships no1 when the emperor turns off the Absolute's influence.

Her being a paladin of Selune seems to be a pretty big clue that she worships Selune?

More like an oversight to me, cuz there is no single-single hint about it, as far as I know she is totally indifferent to Dame Aylin and her rescue/murder, especially in a true religious way

DROW ARE SUPPOSED TO BE EVIL !
They are not indoctrinated, they are born evil...there is ONE exeption, and thats why Drizzt is such a big deal in Faerun
Outdated lore. Nothing in 5E lore suggests Drow have to be evil.

Not just 5e, but a *lot* of the lore in 3.5 and 4 mentions goodly Drow. Eilistraee wouldn't exist otherwise, the chaotic good drow goddess, and she's mentioned as far back as 2e.

I have the impression that a lot of her dialogue is currently bugged, the parts regarding that could easily be among that bugged content.
