What quests does going on to the mountain pass lock out?
Hi all,

I THINK I did everything in the wilderness area. Just celebrated after goblin camp.
Did everything in the underdark before the gyrmforge(?)--wherever the boat takes you with the deep gnomes.

I want to do Lae'Zel's quest now, but that warning on the mountain pass scares me xD.

Anyone have an idea of what you lose out on if you go on the moutain pass?

I heard it's still "act 1" so the gyrmforge shouldn't be an issue yet.

Thank you in advance.

Based on my experiences : none.

Perhaps the kid with snake trying to bite her head off might die or some small things, but I went back and forth just fine without any quest log updates.

If you're ever unsure, make a save, then advance. Check your journal. Any quests that state completed that you did not complete, those are the ones. :)

Usually your journal will say something like, "We didn't do what we needed to do. Too late now."

I don't think there's any at that point though. Later on that can happen.

Heading to the Mountain Pass before saving/destroying the grove or exposing Kagha will trigger the Right of Thorns, preemptively ending that questline.

It may also kill everyone in the burning inn if they're not saved yet, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.

Other than that, no quests progress, to my knowledge.

It changes the state of the tiefling in the emerald groove, if you already did everything related to them you can go to the mountain pass without issue
