High Hall Courtyard - locked area?

Hey folks! When we enter the high hall courtyard and have that MASSIVE battle, but BEFORE we proceed "further", there is a scene on the left (some locked humanoids) and a locked door to the right. (The scene begins with the party moving from West to East, so this would make the door in question on the Northern side.)
You cannot lockpick the door. So, I blew it open instead...and there is, very clearly, another locked area in there right behind it.
Anyone have any thoughts on what it is, how to get in, anything good in there? I assume not but want to make sure I'm not missing something!

It’s the exit to the Upper City Sewers if you go through that path. Took me a bit of exploring to find.

I'm confused, Upper City was scrapped content - what are you referring to?

According to the map title in the Map view, the High Hall Courtyard is the Upper City. You can access the Upper City Sewers by walking to the very north of the map where you will need to fight a few remaining enemies. From there, you can jump to another platform from which you can take a deep plunge (feather fall recommended). There's another boss fight against Stalker Svignee (LVL 12 Death Knight) in the sewers, and a lever behind a metal door. Not sure what it does, though.

MY MIND IS LITERALLY BLOWN! I was not aware that this was the upper city, nor was I aware of any upper city sewers - the Stalker boss fight sounds like a hidden fight, I dunno? But that is awesome! I am stoked! Thank you!!

In my playthrough he was also joined by a level 12 naked Minthara, because I knocked her out and looted her instead of killing her in Act 1.
