Sad about one thing

So far I have heard not a single mention of Abdel Adrian. (canonical main character of Baldur's gate 1&2) I haven't beaten the game yet, but I'm in act III. I have so far ran into two characters from the previous games. and neither of them mention Gorion's ward. not a single reference to him anywhere. probably intentional. but still kinda sad.

The main character in BG 1+2 was a cleric named Celien. I made her.

Best you'll get is some references to a heroic Bhaalspawn from Minsc and maybe Jaheira in Act 3. Very easy to miss. Extremely minor it's only like, 2 lines.

I said the Canonical version of the main character. His name is Abdel Adrian. any other permutation of the main character of Baldur's Gate is just fanfic.

He's not canon, he never will be and he was a garbage character. He was like a trope of tropes with 0 personality. Literally every bhaalspawn ever played in Bg1-2 have a better story.

If you talk to Jaheira about BG1-2 she will give some very ambiguous fanservice that leaves it mostly open to w/e you did in BG1-2 (although presumably our spawns canonically didn;t replace Bhaal.)

Ahh so Larian took the utilitarian arpproach of Sweeping his exploits under the rug. Good to know.

His exploits were being a fighter and simping for Bodhi. Good riddance.

Then How do i know about him? the reason is because the story was turned into an official novel. And Gorion's ward was given a name, and a class. turning those exact events into the ones, that actually happened.

Its the same as in kotors. The hero has to be ambigous cause we (almost all) see our characters from bg1 and 2 as the bhaalspawn
