Vulkan is harder to work with so i guess is not as well optimized as DX11
digital foundry showcased that DX11 gives you better performance in general on windows
As for looks Vulcan looked way better for me better for me, enough so that i tried diff things to stop the crashing.
Like Mantle, I've only been able to get AMD GPU's to work w/ Vulkan. nVidia GPU's always crash trying to use those API's for me.
Normally Vulkan should be better but it's just not implemented the best.
So, definitely try both out for a bit.

vulkan crashes far more. however if u have new isntead of old pc than vulkan might not be too bad of a choice either
and I thought this was a problem of my rig...
got the boxes using vulkan, too!
UPD: someone mentioned that this bug occures with fog settings below "high"
