I just killed Auntie Ethel, she didn't surrender and she didn't offer me its Hair for a permanent Stat +1, bug?

You either killed her in the house, or you killed he too fast in her lair.

The best outcome of that fight I had with my buddy, was when we called the Hags bluff when she set the cage on fire. Only took like 5 rounds of combat before she made her deal. ;)

I've killed her dozens of times, never seen her surrender, never gotten the "hair".

Also be careful of silence as that can cause it not to happen to.

I killed the Hag just before she tried running through the fireplace. I never got the hag's hair, and had to kill Mayrina since the quest was bugged. I don't think the Hag was suppose to die yet.

She will only surrender on HER turn when she is around sub 30 hp. Also she can't talk if silenced.

Interesting, I managed to stealth to the orb and lower the burning cage in the first turn, I then killed her and never got the offer.

drop her under 30 hp, skip all turns after that

Larian triggers are like this. They don't always work for various reasons, but mostly if you kill the target with a big crit.

It's not a bluff... depending on damage rolls the initial burn will either destroy or not the cage... you were lucky

She doesn't surrender until she's low HP. So if you finish her off with a big hit, you'll miss it.

I let it get to her turn when she was at 6 HP and it didn't work.
