Can you Respec/Multiclass into Oathbreaker?

So I know that the Oathbreaker paladin is a semi-hidden subclass that you have to get b breaking your oath (apreciate if anyone could give me the fastest strat for doing that btw :P) but how does the game treat it afterwards? If I become an oathbreaker on my avatar, can I then reroll one of the companions into the subclass, or do they have to be a regular paladin and then break their oaths? And what about multiclassing - If I became an oathbreaker, respec into another class, can I pick up oathbreaker as a multiclass?

No, an oathbreaker has to be "earned", it is no subclass option during level-up. Your companions can become oathbreakers, too. (best done by using that particular companion for dialogues which might trigger oathbreaking).

oathbreaker locks you out of respeccing. you can multi class as normal though

what if you start as another class then multy class into paladin, can you still become oathbreaker even though you don't start as a paladin?
