How to level up party members in split screen?

My brother in law and I have been playing all night but can't figure out how to level up the other characters outside of our main ones. Is there a way to switch to level them up or are we SOL??

if you mean the characters not in your party, i do believe the only way is to put them in your party to level them up. they do get the exp though

I mean how do I get to their level up screen for the ones in my party

click on their portait to the left where the "level up" arrow is?

That's the weird thing, we only have our main characters portraits, we only see the others in combat, and since it's split screen we are stuck with just controllers

Only solution we found was to disconnect one of us an level them in single player
