i dont know... hard barriers like that kinda mess with the immersive freedom. like my sorcerer has a million tools to get around anything, i shouldnt be stopped by a big door.
Agreed. Closing that door would be a "quick fix" without rewriting characters. Just place two bots in front of the closed door repeating "go-to-elevator" and be done with it.
But of course, integrating it "proper" as an alternative way would be better =)

Tons of stuff like this btw, Larion didn't expect DND players to DND properly.
This is a linear RPG game with some choices they should have just forced instead of "freedom" that comes with bugs and the choices are forced anyway.
