For every person who doesn't like LGBTQ in BG3. No bad comments please.
There's a game made by Larian, called Divinity: Dragon Commander. You play as a king of your country, and there's a lot of cutscenes, characters and political choices you have to make. In this game your marrying options are girls only, also there is an option to completely ban LGBTQ in your country. You dwarven advisor will love it while elven one will be mad.

When Dragon Commander came out, it was reversed, more people were against LGBTQ and it was more popular to push against LGBTQ. It's simple as that. Those companies couldn't care less about values. Only about what sells at current time.

It is just a handful of people complaining. They will exist forever. The good thing about games like this is: It does not force you to anything. Wanna play as an orc with tiddies and giant schlong? Go for it! Wanna play a white human wizard. You can. You do not like this gay couple? Kill them! Torture them. Defend them! Gift them wedding rings. Fun for everybody ^^

I disagree.
It would be easier for studios to avoid the LGBTQ issue altogether and launch a game without any controversy.
Larian have been brave and tried to include everyone.
If this upsets and frightens a few people then get the tiny violin out.
The success of this game and therefore this approach really speaks for itself.

Agree to disagree. I think LGBTQ brought them more positive than negative, as it's currently more popular to be with LGBTQ rather than against it.

Because of this we see more and more LGBTQ related things in games, because it's simply more popular. Sure it will create or lure people who hate it, but they're minority, very vocal but still.
That's just what I think.

I don´t care if it is in the game, i care about being bothered with it, i just don´t want to see it . tbh i don´t care a lot about straight sexuality in games either. So why do studios include this LGBTQ propaganda in their games, it´s popular, it´s the current thing to do and that way they can show how progressive they are. It´s marketing.

but what if like.... making every character bisexual isnt marketing but lazy writing so they don't have to write dialogues for every option possible+cater to current popular thing?

i disagree. the existence of so many threads implies that there is a vast majority of people all across teh world noticing this, and expressing their discontent, be t via saracsm, be it openly.

Spotted the guy who hasn't played Dragon Commander. Being a homophobe was obviously meant to be a morally evil choice, meant to please the cartoonishly greedy oligarchs and religious zealots in your government.

It literally ruins the life of one of your closest advisors, who is gay; you're obviously meant to feel bad about making the choice.

Stop making a game you know nothing about part of your regressive agenda; it has a clear socio-political agenda already, and it sure as hell isn't yours.

Dragon Commander came out in 2013, 10 years ago the LGBTQ propaganda was not so strong, so devs didn't really need to appeal for them yet, they had less media coverage as well.

Are there "Ts or Qs" in the game? I dont think so. No one has had a problem with LGB in a while now. I hate when people mix the LGB-community with the TQIA+ people.

i mean... yes? yes there is, you can play as a non-binary Tav or a trans Tav if you so wish, that is, a girl with a penis or a guy with a vagina.

of course, it shouldn't be anyone's concern - and based on how you say LGB and TQIA+ are two separate camps, it seems to be a concern for you - but people are going to be extremely weird about stuff that does not personally affect them and that they will actively have to go out of their way to see for themselves. you don't see a character's private parts unless you actively seek it out. i don't even think you see their genitalia in sex scenes, or at least I didn't see any when I slept with Astarion.

You absolutely do. With Mizora you are both fully naked in full view. "full frontal nudity" is absolutely in the game.

You don't know what propaganda is. LGBTQ people exist and thus they exist in the game, period, it hurts literally no one... that's not propaganda.

Sorry but i highly doubt that the success of the game has anything to do with any LGBTO or anti-LGBTO content.

The game is filling a niche with its round based system, and got very much hyped.

Just take a look at streamers, how many of them are not save cheating throught half the game ?

If the game mechanics would really be the selling point - save scamming would be a minority, it isnt.

Same goes for LGBTo or Anti LGBTO - i mean seriously there are more hints out on the web on how to get Shadowheart into bed than how to beat half the bosses.

And i really dont want to know how man camps there are with every female running around nacked ...

Larian wasnt brave - they are illuded enought that they really think lesbian love scenes would help the gay comunity, while in reallity most girl on girl love in the game is happening with 30 year old guys creating a hot girl char to undress.
