I haven't watched the review, but the TLDR alone sounds a bit dubious.

I mean by all accounts the coop mode has relatively harsh restrictions (not speaking of bugs) in terms of how it has to be used in practice, mainly because it's built around the single player experience.
And since otherwise you get the good and the bad of the single player experience, I would expect it to rate higher than the coop - unless you value its existence alone so high that you are willing to live with the restrictions.

Most games are greatly improved by playing them with friends so you can goof around. Even mediocre ones.

I'm not surprised.

Angry Joe before his addiction problem is much better than Woke Joe. Stopped watching him after he spiraled back in 2016 or so.
