In BG3 the nps especially the men always comes at you no matter what you do and it’s really annoying and makes you really dislike them.
I missed Gale's trigger, so I did have to fend him off. I didn't feel like redoing stuff just to get around that. Poor guy just had to go back to Mystra I guess. Such a shame.
Point is, you can control romance with dialogue. Don't initiate it.
But also the sex scenes there makes sense as you get through alot together with each possible woman so it all feels natural.
In BG3 you just do dialogues with random NPCs and of the people in your camp like what you do in those situations, then they automatically assume you are into them no matter of your gender or sexual preference.
I’d say the romance with Shadowheart in BG3 , the way how it develops over time is the closest one to how most Witcher romances are done except that there you have like 6-7 hot chicks while in BG you have mostly gay options and some freaky muscular women lol
