Cool paladin/fighter armor

Does anyone know any good medium to heavy armor that doesn't look evil? Just got to Wyrms look out and the best armor set I've got so far is the generals but it doesn't fit the look of my paladin or other companions so I continue to wear less effective armor like the plate armor set because I mindlessly follow the rule of cool. Also it would be helpful to know if I can change the physical appearance of an armor (as in not the color).

The blacksmith in Lower City sells few very nice armour pieces, if you kept him alive in Act 1 and 2.

Yeah, I bought the Armor of Persistence from him as soon as I managed to scrape together the 16k I needed. Very good heavy armor and has a cool, heroic look to it. The only problem I've found with it is that sometimes if you get Blade Ward cast on you, the Blade Ward provided by the armor falls off when the spell cast on you does, requiring you to re-equip the armor to reapply it. =(

Would that negativilly affect Wylls opinion or character arc?

It will affect Wyll. You have some options though. You should try to knock out the Duke - so enable non-lethal attacks...

dyes. my buddy playing cleric has turned some very average looking armor into some holy paladin looking armor simply with dyes.

Oh thank you that's really good to know. I thought they just affected the material or cloth color.

Did you do the forge in the under dark? The heavy armour you can make from it is very good.
