but actualy should do it, use Shadowheart as healing battery only anyway, usualy only use guardian spirits radiant and the sacred fire centrip, that should do enough aua with life domain
If you feel like it works for you, go for it. I feel like there are 0 downsides to re-speccing unless you're deliberately hamstringing your characters.
I left all the origin characters as their default classes/subclasses because I rather characters feel true to their story design. I just adapted my playstyle and equipment.
But take that with a grain of salt because Shadowheart has been using a bow and a staff more than a shield and mace in my game.
Do whatever you think is more fun.
Edit: I will say, being someone who's currently doing her companion quest... doing that soft step trial in the Shar Temple Guantlet with Shadowheart might be way harder without Pass Without Trace skill on her, but I suppose there's other ways for you to get similar abilities/stealth advantages.
I think the right time to respec her is after she turned to Selûne, RP-wise she should be trickery for Shar, but I want her really holy (in a sexy way) when she's a selûnite.
I did this too. I feel it's a fitting alternative.
