Are you not allowed to return to her lair? She was a bit OP for me at the time, so I've basically wrapped up Act 1 and now I can't return to her dungeon with the gnarled tree door. I've come back to the teahouse and can't enter through the fireplace, not sure if the recent patch screwed it up or I missed my chance to kill her?

If the patch didn't change anything you should be able to. You can enter via the fireplace, or there are 2 other routes also.

You can get there via the fireplace, or the underdark route...assuming you still have a mask on you. The gnarled door after the fireplace is an illusion, you can just walk thru it.

I really think the fireplace entrance is bugged for some reason. Unaware that there was another entrance through the underdark, so I guess I'll start that journey. Thanks!

but you need the weird masks to pass through underdark entrance as otherwise that fake wall is solid. unless youre thinking about th emushroom circle but that just places you south of the teahouse

yup i cant get through the fireplace so im currently stuck on that mission until there is a fix

Just had this, you can use the same trick as the Face blocking entrance to the below area, i.e. at fireplace use WASD to scroll beyond it and select the ground, the team will walk through the fireplace

Return as in you cleared it already? Shouldn't the portal be active on the back side of the house?

You can jump over the fireplace.

I thought I was stuck here, but I had to click on the "wooden stairs" after moving through the fireplace
