Why the fk enemies just heal back to full hp when you hit them from stealth?

They heal back if they disengage from combat. So, if you attack from stealth, and then they can't find you for over one turn, then combat ends, turn based ends, and the mobs heal back up to full health.

This. If you fail the stealth check after, they wont heal back up.

I know that why, but why? Like this is just a direct nerf to stealth...

Turn on Turn Based just before you make the attack

They shouldn't though. MY characters don't just heal to full health if i'm out of combat for a turn. he has a good point.

The reason is to prevent silly trivialization of battle encounters.

It's to prevent lame exploits where you hit an enemy, stealth out, come back days later, hit them again, until they finally die.

It's a video game. The player characters and NPC characters do not need to, nor should they, have to play by the same rules.

Imagine if an NPC sorc was just like your sorc. Imagine them on their first turn doing a twinned haste, into a twinned chain lightning, into a quickened and upscaled level 5 fireball. You would not be okay with that.

More like maybe just retain your alpha strike advantage, but instead of letting them heal you engage them before they start to heal.

The alternative would be skyrim levels of AI stupidity. *gets hit with an arrow* "Must have been the wind".

More like maybe just use an ounce of your intelligence and retain your alpha strike advantage, but instead of letting them heal you engage them before they start to heal.
^This. You can still do the ranged stealth thing, you just have to make sure you don't go one full turn where no enemy has seen you at all (until you make at least one kill), and thus no enemy knows there's an opponent.

So, you're going to need to be able to make kills roughly once every other turn.
