Class Tier List

Okay so this time we can do something different like categorise the top 4 for each role so people dont get salty their favourite class is a pile of garbage at some aspects of the game.



Single Target Damage / Damage Per Round : Paladin , Fighter, Monk , Sorcerer

Build Diversity : Bard , Cleric, Paladin, Warlock

Multiclass viability : Paladin, Sorcerer , Warlock, Fighter

Skill Monkey : Bard, Rogue, Monk, Ranger

Combat utility / Control : Sorcerer , Bard , Cleric, Warlock

Dialogue Andy(the party's beautiful face) : Bard, Paladin, Warlock, Sorcerer

Needs Help! : Druid , Barbarian, Wizard


Note : Remember these are just the best 4 in each roll, all classes are viable, and do a lot of things well, just some are better than others at some of the things.

If you no likey. Ask Larian for buffs.

Imagine putting wizard above monk.

Swap B and C tier and swap monk with wizard and you would be right. Ide put fighter S and Cleric A though, but it does depend on the domain you choose and multiclass options if it hits S or A so either is good

Druid is FFFFFFFFF
Barb is C
Rogue is C
Ranger is B
Monk is A or S

Fighter is A or S
Cleric is A or S
Wizard is C or F depending on subclass

obviously this guy monk was trash if placing it under druid who should be one of the bottom classes shadow monk/thief destroy their backline tavern brawler monk or multi classed with barb or fighter outputs one of the highest damage class

I mean, your comments on druid are the same. Those who live in glass houses, and all that. Druid is one of the strongest classes, if not THE strongest.

tempest cleric is broken rn, probably the strongest class outside of sorc, is the strongest when multiclassed with sorc

Im still waiting for someone to show me a druid doing anything good. Ive asked multiple times before, Show me a druid doing a comparable round to a fighter.
Or being better at anything in the game than any other utility or control, or being a party face... or skilling...i mean ill wait, but i know you wont.

Fact is, its categorically the worst class, It has the least in game dialogue options and interactions too.
It also has to be not shape form for the interactions it does have which can end up forcing more short rests and on top that its spell list is no where near on the level or bard or cleric or sorc, so really...

Ill wait for your video explaining specifically what druid can do that any other class cannot do better.

I think these types of list need more granularity. They need to be ranked by subclass, not just base class.

Does soloing the entirety of act 1 without struggling not count as being good? I guess, since according to your response the literal only thing that matters is dialogue options... which, frankly, is just weird, because it would inherently mean the only valid classes are charisma based single stat classes. On the topic of forcing rests... druids flat out have more resources than any other class, which is precisely why their ability to solo most encounters is important, because most encounters will be the druid doing all the heavy lifting in the first place, either because the rest of the party ran out of resources or they're being saved for harder fights later. On the topic of the spell list... there is no world where the sorcerer's spell list is as good as the druids. Nor the cleric, who only actually has 3 spells of note if you're not level 7 yet. Spiritual weapon, spirit guardians, healing word, nothing else is even relevant. Only, the druid also gets healing word. And the strongest battlefield control suite by far. And far more reliable single target damage spells than the sorcerer. And it does that while having more hp than the rest of your party combined, and absurd early game dps that doesn't really fall off much unless being compared specifically to barbarian great weapon masters with haste or paladin smites (which are extremely limited to the point of not realistically counting toward their effectiveness, since you get a solid 2 encounters where you can smite each long rest). It says a lot that even the fighter runs out of their resources faster than the druid.

Best subclasses, would just be the ones who end up putting those classes in the top 4 for any category, for example, all 3 bard subs, clerics light, tempest, war, paladins, vengeance or oathbreaker, warlocks archfey or fiend, rogues thief, rangers gloomstalker, fighters battlemaster or champion, monks open hand etc etc...

This i guess is why druid is bottom of the pile really, all 3 subs are pretty poor, moon is by far the worst, with a spores close second, land has some niceties but overall all 3 are ultimately not comparable to other classes that offer the same things but do them better.

Mostly its obvious which paths provide the most out of a class. but not always i guess,
