That's actually not true. I rented the whole floor for 200G and I can stay there more or less indefinitely, at least according to the bartender. Also I have had multiple long rests there and everytime I go back to camp, I am in my rooms at the Elfsong Tavern.

You own one in Baldur's Gate? Also, for me at least, dno about you, being kidnapped and then ending up in Baldur's Gate didn't take me 7 days lol in game. I rested a lot more then just that. In my mind, I don't think the landlord expected you to be back after hearing about you being kidnapped, therefor replaced you. You can take it up with the city council if you think that's an unfair treatment mr house owner. :P
