Portraying beastiality is too far

Okay so first off having sex with animals is illegal. This game tried to normalise it.

I don't think it would be ethical to postively portray a r*ape scene in game.

I don't think it would be ethical to positively portray pedophillia in game.

So why does this get a free pass for portraying people having sex with animals? It's seriously wrong.

I don't want to play Larian games anymore. I don't want to support developers who promote beastiality. They are no doubt furries who genuinely fantasize about this sort of thing. They should be put on a list and monitored but instead in this backwards world we put them on a pedestal.

It's completely wrong.

Well, I mean an alien is no bear lol so that wouldn't be zoophilia. Are you trying to make an argument that an elf is an alien or something? Zoophilia is very specific to animals that we know exist in our world, and a bear exists in our world. So, that would be where the line is drawn in terms of that fetish.

I didn't say anything about being outraged. I just told op that they would drive themselves crazy trying to argue about it, when others want to make defensive arguments about how Halsin isn't a bear, and it's not a bear you have sex with [obviously worded differently]. Ehh, I don't have much faith in humanity, I've seen some f'd arguments some have made [outside of steam] to defend very questionable individuals. So, I don't share your sentiments on thinking there are not really creepy folks out there 'lurking' and trying to normalize certain things so that they can start operating in the open more. Well that's just it though. It's not a bear here on earth. It's a make-believe fantasy land with magacal people that can change form, into a thing that is NOT a real life earth bear. It's no different than some cheesey sci-fi story with an alien bear chick getting it on with an astronaut or something.

My point is, you're looking at a massive gray area full of variables and only seeing black and white. The world of Faerun have our animals existing in it, including bears, probably because the world itself is based on a fictional Earth. There's no way around that unless you change their species and alter how they look so they look nothing like animals we have IRL. That would make them purely fictional.

Would dragon sex be considered zoophilia?? IDK because we don't have dragons that exist in our world, so idk wtf that would be considered lol. Is a Khajiit an animal?? Idk the answer to that either lol but a bear is an animal that we know exists. By definition having sex with an animal, doesn't exclude shape-shifted human/elves, is zoophilia. Idk if an Owlbear would even be considered an animal since its literally just a fictional creation. So if a GREY AREA exists, those would be examples of grey areas to me
