What is the best race for story, and why? Go!

Drow seems the best, as it gets the most interactions. Most every other race gets little to none.

Human. As we are all human, seeing the magic world with all its races from the eyes of a human is a lot more fascinating than being a dragon yourself for example .

And as the capital city is human city , it just feels natural to be a human lol

50% human, 50% superior race.
If you're a half elf drow, you're even a superiorior race.

the best story is good dark urge run, race-wise there are some interesting choices like Drow or Tiefling that have some racism element.

Honestly if you want to choose something for story sake and nothing else the Origins may be more your thing, you can pick a companion you don't want in your party maybe because they don't have a personality that is easy to please like Lae'zel or Astarion, you will have much more impactful dialog and will even get your own questline.

Nah. If anything Gith have bones like titanium and hyper efficient muscles. Illithid eugenics isn't like Star Trek eugenics.

If your a meta slave half orc for sure. Sturdy ability from pokemon, extra die for crits, dark vision and speedy legs. Cant really go wrong with those racials.

One that gets a cantrip (so what, half high-elf and high elf?) There are some great possibilities there even if your Int is crap.
