Ive seen what you mean in some videos but i have never seen any loading at all in my game.
Not sure, i have maximum settings on 2k resolution, installed on a SSD.
well, there u go. you just answered your own question as why u dont have same problem.
however, on hdd with weaker pc this is quite badly noticable unfortunately
Gonna defraggment the disk and move game to ssd in a few weeks time but sort of fear that won't help much either.
I know the latest update greatly improved my load times but I am running it on an SSD and 32GB of ram but they all say it still runs badly for them even after the patch. I think they should have made SSD a hard requirement because I have seen a lot of complaints about regular HD's running poorly.
Most of my friends are already shopping for SSD's because they are tired of the long load times and very bad looking cutscenes.
thanks for info. at least i know now that others with weaker lower memory rigs and hdd are getting texture lacking cutscenes too.
im gonna get another ssd soon (one i have now is too small and for windows mostly) but idk if it'll be much better since i only have 8GBs memory.
Can get close to semi stable 60 fps on max but texture and even assets loading is so so so bad to point you can't play it actually.
heard gog offers 30 day refunds so might just do that if ssd doesn't help.
guess i'll have to play it when i sell a kidney for a more today's day pc i guess unless i wonna watch almost texture-less like cutscenes :/
man... im so ♥♥♥♥♥ sad now. i love good stories, charatcers, dialogues and quests games like witcher 3 and this seemed of similar quality so i was so glad to start playing it but now..... F**k me i guess
how much RAM u got tho? I've only 8
no ♥♥♥♥ sherlock. however my pc still ran much better looking stuff far easier so that's why im asking here if the loading thing is rly that bad in bg3 and if it can be alliviated somehow
no ♥♥♥♥ sherlock. u think i wouldnt have thought of that and done it by now if i could? sometimes there is a problem, memeory leak, bug, etc... or it can be alleviated with hdd option, defragmenting, sdd. so that's why i asked. however it seems futile
64Gb… yeah… I use my PC mainly for video and picture editing…
Focus more on upgrading your PC and less on complaining.
no need to go that hard mate im out of jester awards points anyway. go get some sunlight and grass touching maybe
Played the EA with on an HDD, got slow texture loading. Bought an external SSD once the full game released (about £70/$50 for a quality terabyte drive), runs fine.
