Eldritch Knight War Magic

Considering how Larian did a great job in straightening up some of the worst classes and subclasses in 5E, it really sticks out how anti-synergic the lvl 7 "war magic" is with the eldritch knight progression.
The fantasy of playing a war mage is better represented by literally any other gish class in the game...
Also pointing out that Eldritch Knights are heavily penalized by the lvl cap since any combination starts to pay off at lvl 13
Probably Larian is already working on something.(or modders are) Not a big deal if they're not, still an amazing game!

The thing that's really stupid in 5e is that Eldritch knights have a crap ability where casting a CANTRIP gives one weapon attack but BLADESINGERS get an ability where if they take the attack action they can just replace one attack with a cantrip.

Bladesingers are better Eldritch knights than Eldritch knights.

Every gish class is a better Eldritch Knight than an Eldritch Knight. The list is too long XD

Mostly blame WOTC for almost always refusing to rebalance older content and instead just releasing superior alternatives later.
