Its not even about the Weapon from the Commander, mainly want all the loot from the other cambions - at least one of them has around 300G. But i thought so that this was my only chance to beat all Cambions, if Tentacle Guy would just use his AoE Stun then when all three are alined perfectly ...
The Gold/EXP/Loot/etc for all the other enemies is NOT worth the headache of trying to get everything to go JUST RIGHT IMO...
Overall 3 cambions seems SUPER rough on tactician, and I have only seen 1 person be able to do it, with an infinite magehand cheese that took hours to pull off.
I've never tried killing the cambions, but you can cut off the entrance by using one of the large chests and block the path. I also put a small chest infront just for measure.
Guess, spawn mage hand with Lae'Zel and have it throw stuff (bombs, weapons) for a tiny bit extra damage.
The 4 nautiloid tanks are placed at the top of the stairs in the middle, use Shadowheart firebolt to blow them up and hope for the best. This is usually where I might save scum, if they pass all 4 saves they barely take any damage, if they fail all 4 saves they die in 1-2 hits from lae'zel with greatsword.
Bless is near mandatory, cast it once outside of the fight room then use heal pod and go inside, Command for drop, wait for cambions and then bless again. Us the intellect devourer can make a massive difference as well.
But in the end, expect to save scum, especially if you do it on balanced/tactician. It's a very tight fight and needs very specific damage.
This method works but is pure suffering.
