The scene with Astarion fleeing the sun sums up the problem. He runs away and the companions are there "ok" and that's it? Besides, my character who romances him doesn't even follow him? Like he doesn't care? Don't get me started on Karlach too, it's so shameful.
Such a good game but such a disapointing ending.
Weird sounds like u got a diff ending to me.. and i thought the ending was good tbh. Shadowheart had left my camp so i wast expecting anything from her. Karlach was a mindflayer and my 'partner' - she made a brave sacrifice but was happy to still be living. Astarian was my friends 'partner' and he didnt run away? I'd have to rewatch it again but he had quite a few voice lines. Got a cutscene with Gale too about how he was leaving to look for the crown and become the ultimate mage.. all in all that's all I could have wanted. Maybe we were lucky to be playing with those chars? I discussed this with my friend and we both agree it was a decent ending.
"What happened after that is just unfinished product, that I just want to forgot and erase from my head. No closure. No narrative end to your companions stories. My actions throughout the game meant nothing, my choices had no value (only the most recent ones).
Nothing I did in Act 1, 2 and 3 had any meaning. I would see the same end results, playing as an Evil Dark Urge as well as a Righteous Paladin".
Just a short cutscene where L'Azael flew away, Gale disappeared, Karlach died, Astarion ran away with sunburn. Amazing. No even text screens about what I did bad/good and what happened to locations I visited.
Finished, uninstalled, forgot forever.
Stop being a fanboy. Just stop.
It seems that you did not finish there quests.
Link or did happen.
Guy is upset because he didn't got the ending he envisioned, lol. This is a DnD game, harsh and ruthless, happy ending rarely happens.
If you don't like bad/sad endings, don't play RPGs. Play FIFA
enjoy

You have to understand. Gent was trembling from fear because of the impending Starfield release.
Us customers are of no relevance in the face of such a menace.
So it did`nt happen
