Is this game worth a try for that price?
Actually, looking at the gameplay so far i would love to play it. Reminds me a lot to good old NWN and thinking of starting again with that game but i am still wondering, if it is really worth the 60€ or should i better wait until the game will be available with some discount in the price and get's some more patches?
The graphics looks pretty nice which is great but as it is from Larian Studios i have some concerns. Played Divinity 2 which was nice but level balancing was horrible, at the beginning the game was very hard but at the end it was too easy, the second game i've played from them was Divinity Dragon Commander which was nice at first but i didn't really felt that environment as it related to many political stuff that was going on the days where that game was released. So what are the Pro's and Cons for that game so far?

Wait for definitive edition with restored content, bugfixes and better optimization.

Level balancing is horrible in BG3. I downloaded a mod that makes leveling faster, as well as a mod that allows me to level up to level 20, as only having 4 party members maximum, while there can be an infinite number of opponents, throws the game balance out of control.

60 euros is equivalent to $65 USD, so you're effectively paying $5/5 euros more for the same game than I did. So I would say it's a rip off.

I absolutely think it's worth it. I haven't had any of the issues or bugs that I keep hearing about. I haven't enjoyed a game this much since playing Skyrim when it came out to be honest.

I'm 104 hours in my first play through and still have not finished it. There is a massive amount of content, so you will definitely get your moneys worth at full price, especially if you compare it to other AAA games like Diablo 4 which costs more and you'll mostly be done with it in maximum 40-50 hours.

Restored content... I swear people treat datamined content as it were the bible. :lunar2019grinningpig:

Not in it's current state (act 3). Wait until content is restored.

Totally worth it, you can get at least two really good really long playthoughs unless you try and find every single quest and story on your first attempt. If you're not playing 10 hours a day (like I sometimes am) you can get a few months out of the game. Value per time is incredibly good.

It's mainly single player focused game so there is really no rush (even co op is scuffed to the point where it's impossible to remove players from your active party for the rest of the game). Better wait until at least some bugs get fixed and preferably game gets 50-75% off.

Anything above LVL 12 and the balancing in the game becomes a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, even on Tact the game is easy, if you're bad at it just say so.

It has many issues like a completely broken relationship system that shares the same meter for romance and reputation, which means that after arround 5 hours of game time all copanions believe that you are interrested in a romantic relationship with them and start flirting with you non stop. Both male and female ones with no option to turn it down/off.

Skill Issue.

XP is gained through various ways and not just killing things. Exploration, reading things. Finding loot. Inspiration through various acts. I've been playing Solo on balanced and have been absolutely breezing through despite fumbling most encounters and fights only to then after, find easier ways of doing it. Start of act 1 can be a little harsh. But if things seem to hard. back up. look around a little more for more XP or better loot then go at it again.

A big part of BG3 is Strategy. so if you find yourself losing a lot in encounters, it means you're poorly equipped or tackling it the wrong way.

I've played a lot of the game through multiplayer with friends, so going back in single player, I'm not really wanting to go out of my way to go through all the parts of the game I've already experienced, just to level up once or twice.

I already have really good loot as well. The thing that mostly messes me up, is when the enemies outnumber me, 5 to one, and they just keep spawning, forcing me to cut down the mobs, not focusing on major threats, as if I focus on the major threats, the mobs will just wreck my party, and even then, focusing on the mobs has the major threats wreck my party. The action economy is a real thing in this game, as it is in DnD 5e.
