There is no friendly fire?

Casted a fireball to the bunch of enemies where my main was. Like thought he had way more health than enemies so had to survive. But fireball ignored him, he didn't save or resist damage, just wasn't affected by the spell at all.

I was pretty sure there was friendly fire in the game, but this time was it bug or what?

If your caster is a wizard focusing on the school of "Evocation", then they get a special ability that lets them shape their AOE evocation spells around their allies so they take no damage. Probably that, if I had to guess.

Unfortunately there's no way to exclude neutrals. Really annoying in certain fights.

Damn, I once fired a fireball into my main with enemies all around them. They all died and my main didn't even get one hp down, I was like, wtf? Nice to know this, going to exploit this to the max now, specially since I'm considering a normal playthrough after my first one, I wanted to try multi-classing but it's disabled in story mode, thought I had a bug that didn't allowed me to multiclass but then read it right
