Stealth and pick pocket needs some serious patching.
Really enjoying the game but stealth and picketing needs some serious attention in a patch. A successful pick pocket should not result in the victim automatically knowing who pick pocketed them.

Also, I'm on the 1st (2nd for US readers) floor of the fireworks shop, with no witnesses, but somehow even when I'm stealthed the guards know when I'm looting bodies. The same guards that were fine with the explosions from the massive fight.

Its a bit strange. You can pickpocket randoms without problem, but there are some areas where the NPCs seem clairvoyant. I guess its linked to quests where you need to be confronted for the things to happen right.

Ya early on in the game when I was stealing I noticed this as well and I was sooo confused as to why they figured it out. It gets a little frustrating when you gotta steal an item and run away until the merchant wanders around trying to find someone and goes back to normal. I assume they do this cause its so easy to pickpocket. I'm about 100 hours in my play through and I have not spent 1 gold on a merchant. Everything has been stolen which is crazy. lol

I think that shop is bugged. The guards attacked me for trespassing after I summoned a cat (minor illusion) on the bottom floor. Someone also ran outside and shot several fireballs at me through the wall and floor. They also completely ignored the basement blowing up when I misclicked and got Shadowheart blown to bits.

There is even another mistake in stealing. If the person being stolen from can also trade, you could theoretically sell the item to them. If you do, the item will automatically be transferred to your side of the merchant dialog. So you return it for free.

the only thing i say about this is , the game need pause system for only pickpocketing and dice rolling - specially when u try to lockpick doors

I'm guess its a by product of Early access where people like myself were looting every npc with high level rogue stats lol

You need to pickpocket then hide some where. Alone.

You can switch to turn-based mode at any time, which is effectively a break.

That happened to me in ACT 2. There is the fishman people village, where they are able to go right inside the rock. They enter the solid rock and start throwing stuff at me from below:D
There was also someone who shot at my char in the Tavern, whne being upstairs. (Not through a whole, we were completely blocked, but he was able to shoot through the floor.)

Regarding pickpocket, usually the bonuses of the trader are not added to the Pickpocket DC. So what is shown as DC is just the base. For instance the duergar trader in ACT 1 has +8 bonus ...so a 19 DC becomes 27:D
