Mind flayers, the elder brain and pronouns.
As we all know mind flayes are a genderless spieces the reproduce via implanting a tadpole into people and turning them into mind flayers.
Killing the host and stealing its memories.

The abosulute is refered to as a she.
The emperor i dont think is ever refered to by gender.

This brings me to the topic:
As a none gender spieces that reproduce via parasitic infection.

What would be a proper pronounce?
And why is the elder brain.
Who is a mind flayer(look up mind flayer lore. it is awesome)
Refer to as a she(I would ask the same if it was a he)

I personal think it is because on goddess is easier to sell then a none binear deity.
After all it is god or goddess.
How does a none binear deity even get refered too.

The Mother Brain was a she in BG2.

Also the mindflayers could have vestigial reproductive organs.

funny you say that. you should look it up again. Elder Brain is not "A" Mind flayer.

It's more like a collection of hundreds of thousands of Ilithid minds merged with the deceased body of an Ulitharid.

Isn't an elder brain the final stage of mind-flayer metamorphism, or no?

Sounds to me like there part of the same spieces.
Mind flayer dragons are a thing.
And i remember that without a host tadpoles become something so horrifying mind flayers exterminate it on mass.
But that too is part of there spieces.

Where do the tadpoles come from? Those are babies. Where is the mom and who is the father?

Referring to the Elder Brain as "she" probably comes from the fact she controls her hive like a Queen does in many insect species.

llithids were all sexless, without male or female biological sex,[62] and once or twice in their life they would lay a clutch of eggs from which tadpoles hatched.

Fair point.

The proper pronoun for them is abomination.

No.

That statement hints that the transformation of a tadpole will eventually happen into an Elder Brain.

Which is not true in Ilithid society.

1: It's not a metamorphosis
2: It happens willingly, not randomly
3: Only the Ulitharid are capable to do it

It's not a metamorphosis. The Ulitharid WILLINGLY removes his/her brain, puts it into a brain sludge, which was made by his/her own body (body composte). And that brain starts growing by absorbing Ilithid minds

Thats not metamorphosis, it's closer to ascending to godhood. As Ulitharid are already considered as minor gods
