[Spoiler] Strange Ox, the greatest ally for the final Battle.

In Act 1, at Emerald Grove you'll find a Strange Ox.
In Act 2, at Last Light Inn, you'll meet the same Strange Ox

(as early as act 2) you can see the history of this peculiar Ox.

In Act 3, the Strange Ox will seek your help to get him into Baldur's Gate by becoming a Strange Apple which you can carry into the city.

and suprisingly enough if you dont kill him in Act 1,2 or 3
he'll appear to offer his assistance for you in the final battle.

:O Yes.
You can get the genocidal bloodthirsty ox as an ally for the final boss battle.

Just remember to actually pick up the apple in Act 3; it's not clear that you need to do it and that he's not automatically in your inventory. If you don't you'll fail the quest and you won't be able to bring him into the city afterwards.
